A Home For Me's Journey Camp uses the holistic approach of TBRI (trust based intervention) to connect, empower and gently correct children from "hard places". This may include children in foster care or those who have been adopted, or any child who has difficulty with trust, connection and self-regulation. Fun activities that include Movement, Sensory, Life-skills and Nurture Group, are all designed to build trust and teach self-regulation techniques. Craft time and Recreation are both fun, therapeutic and sensory rich activities and firm favorites.
